AssistApp Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 19 October 2026

1. Who we are and these terms

AssistApp is the trading name of Norsey Technologies Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17507180. Our registered office is 35 Chapel Court, Billericay, England, CM12 9LX.

In these terms, “AssistApp”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Norsey Technologies Limited. “Client”, “you” and “your” refer to the business that signs up to or uses our services.

These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of our website, software and integrations, including our WhatsApp integration (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you confirm that you accept these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business.

These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, available on our website at https://assistapp.me.

2. Our services

AssistApp provides AI powered customer service, messaging automation and booking software to businesses. Our Services help Clients answer customer enquiries, manage bookings, respond to messages and connect customer communications with relevant business systems.

The Services are provided for business use only. They are designed for business specific customer service and booking purposes and are not a general purpose AI assistant or chatbot.

We may improve, update or change the Services from time to time. We will take reasonable steps to tell Clients about changes that materially reduce the core functionality of the Services.

3. Eligibility and accounts

The Services are intended for businesses and organisations. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use them.

You must provide accurate and up to date information when setting up the Services, keep your login details secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out using your account.

The end customers of a Client do not need an AssistApp account to use a public booking service or to message a Client through the Services.

4. Client responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • the accuracy of the information you give us, including your services, opening hours, pricing, availability, booking rules and policies;
  • your own customer relationships, services, policies and decisions, including how you honour bookings and respond to customers;
  • ensuring you have all rights, consents and permissions needed to share customer information with us and to contact customers through the Services; and
  • reviewing and configuring the Services so that they are suitable for your business.

5. WhatsApp, Meta and messaging requirements

Our Services integrate with the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta. If you use this integration, you agree to comply with all terms and policies that apply to your use of WhatsApp and Meta services, as updated from time to time, including the WhatsApp Business Terms of Service, the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and the Meta Platform Terms.

In particular, you agree that you will:

  • obtain valid opt in from customers before sending them business initiated messages, and keep a record of that opt in;
  • respect customers’ requests to stop receiving messages and act on opt outs promptly;
  • only use message templates and content that comply with WhatsApp’s policies;
  • not send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, misleading content or content that is unlawful, harmful or prohibited by WhatsApp or Meta; and
  • not use the Services for any industry, product or service that WhatsApp or Meta prohibits.

WhatsApp and Meta are independent third parties. We are not responsible for their services, policies or decisions, including any decision to restrict, suspend or remove access to a WhatsApp Business account or phone number. We may suspend or limit messaging where needed to comply with Meta’s requirements or to protect the Services.

6. Artificial intelligence

The Services use artificial intelligence to process customer enquiries and generate responses on behalf of Clients. AI generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for a particular situation.

You are responsible for how you use AI generated responses in your business, and for reviewing the configuration, business information and policies that the AI relies on. Where appropriate, you should make sure customers can reach a person, and should not rely on the Services as the sole means of providing advice that requires professional judgement.

We do not use customer conversations to train our own AI models unless this is separately disclosed and an appropriate legal basis has been established. Further information is in our Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You must not, and must not allow anyone else to:

  • use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive or harmful purpose;
  • send spam, harass others or send content that is discriminatory, threatening, sexually explicit or infringes anyone’s rights;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to, disrupt, overload or reverse engineer the Services or our systems;
  • use the Services to collect sensitive information that is not needed, or to process payment card details through our messaging channels;
  • resell, sublicense or provide the Services to third parties without our written agreement; or
  • use the Services in a way that breaches the terms or policies of WhatsApp, Meta or any other connected service.

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.

8. Fees and payment

Fees for the Services are as agreed in the contract between us or as listed on our website. Unless stated otherwise, fees are charged in pounds sterling and exclude VAT. Payment terms are as stated on the relevant invoice.

WhatsApp or Meta may charge separate fees for messaging. Unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, you are responsible for any such third party charges.

We do not collect or store customers’ payment card details. Where a booking requires payment, payment is handled directly by your existing payment provider.

If an invoice is overdue, we may suspend the Services after giving reasonable notice.

9. Data protection, security and deletion

Each party will comply with applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

For customer information processed on your behalf, you will generally be the data controller and we will generally be the data processor, acting on your documented instructions. Where applicable, we will enter into a data processing agreement with you. For information we process for our own purposes, we act as a data controller. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process your customers’ information and for giving them any privacy information required by law.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, and we will notify you without undue delay if we become aware of a security incident affecting personal data we process on your behalf. We only disclose personal data to public authorities where legally required, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Customers and Clients can ask us to delete personal data at any time by emailing hello@assistapp.me with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”, as described in our Privacy Policy. You agree to tell us promptly about any deletion request you receive that relates to data we process on your behalf, and to act on our reasonable instructions to carry it out.

10. Intellectual property

We own, or are licensed to use, all intellectual property rights in the Services, including our software, branding and documentation. We grant you a limited, non exclusive, non transferable right to use the Services for your internal business purposes while these terms apply.

You keep ownership of the content and information you provide to us, and you grant us the right to use it as needed to provide the Services to you. We may use aggregated or anonymised information that does not identify you or any individual to operate, secure and improve the Services.

11. Availability and support

We aim to keep the Services available and secure but we do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted or error free. The Services depend on third party providers, including hosting, database, AI and messaging providers, and may be affected by outages or changes outside our control. We may carry out maintenance from time to time.

Support is available by email at hello@assistapp.me during normal UK business hours.

12. Third party services

The Services may connect with third party systems, such as your existing booking software, WhatsApp and Meta, and AI providers. These are subject to their own terms and we are not responsible for them. Our current providers are described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not give any warranties other than those set out in these terms, and we do not promise that the Services or any AI generated content will be accurate, complete or suitable for your particular purposes.

14. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or anticipated savings, or for any indirect or consequential loss; and
  • our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Services, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for losses caused by third party services, including any action taken by WhatsApp or Meta in relation to your account.

You agree to cover us against claims by third parties arising from your breach of these terms, your content, or your use of the Services in breach of applicable law or third party policies.

15. Term and termination

These terms apply from when you first use the Services and continue until ended by either of us. Unless your contract says otherwise, either party can end the agreement by giving 30 days’ written notice.

We may suspend or end your access immediately if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay fees when due, or if we are required to do so by law or by a third party provider such as Meta.

On termination, your right to use the Services ends and we will delete or anonymise your data in line with our Privacy Policy and any agreement between us. Sections that by their nature should continue, including those on intellectual property, liability and governing law, will continue to apply.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to our Services, technology, providers or legal obligations. The latest version will be published on our website with the date it was last updated. If we make a material change, we will give Clients reasonable notice. Continued use of the Services after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

17. General

These terms, together with any contract and our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us about the Services. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply. A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent.

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
